Der PING G440 K HL wurde für Golfer entwickelt, die maximale Stabilität, hohe Ballgeschwindigkeit und konstante Leistung über die gesamte Schlagfläche suchen. Mit einem neuen, verstellbaren 28-Gramm-Rückgewicht ist dies der fehlerverzeihendste Driver, den PING je gebaut hat. Das Gewicht kann in Neutral-, Draw- oder Fade-Position eingestellt werden, um den Schwerpunkt fein abzustimmen und die Ballflugkurve optimal an Schwung und Spielstil anzupassen. Das HL-Modell (High Launch) richtet sich an Golfer mit geringerer Schwunggeschwindigkeit, die mehr Länge vom Tee erzielen möchten. Das leichtere Rückgewicht spielt dabei eine entscheidende Rolle, da es einen höheren Ballstart und zusätzliche Distanz unterstützt.

The back weight is 4 grams heavier than the fixed weight in the G430 MAX 10K, moving more mass to the perimeter of the clubhead. This increases the moment of inertia (MOI) and positions the center of gravity deeper and lower, resulting in higher launch speed, more stable ball flight, and improved speed retention—even on off-center strikes. The fast T9S+ face further enhances energy transfer for increased distance off the tee.

A Dual Carbonfly Wrap in the crown and sole, combined with PING’s Free-Hosel technology, saves weight in the central areas of the clubhead. This weight is strategically redistributed to the perimeter and back weight to maximize forgiveness and optimize CG placement. Free-Hosel technology also reduces weight in the heel and increases face flex in that area, helping to maintain ball speed on heel strikes.

To enhance feel and sound, the G440 K features a composite crown bridge and damping ribs in both the sole and crown. These elements reduce unwanted vibrations and deliver a more muted, powerful, tour-inspired sound at impact. At address, the driver has PING’s largest profile to date, inspiring confidence over the ball.
