The Cobra KING Grandsport Armlock is a 3D printed, oversized blade putter made with a blend of materials to maximize performance. The "body" is 3D-printed in nylon, and with an advanced lattice pattern it becomes both extremely light and extremely torsionally rigid. This allows the Cobra to place more weight out in the corners, in the form of tungsten weights, as well as close to the face for a solid ball hit. The construction provides a much higher MOI than a solid construction, for you it means better length control on hits outside the sweet spot. Short line of sight closest to the impact surface.
The face is licensed from SIK Putters, and it has four different lofts – Descending Loft Technology. That design of the hitting surface means that you get the same loft on the putter regardless of whether you hit the ball up or down. This in turn gives the same ball launch and spin no matter how you hit the ball, giving you more consistent lengths. The hitting surface is made of aluminum to give a soft feel.
Armlock means that the shaft, and the grip, is longer (41"), so you can press the grip against the forearm for a more stable putting motion. It is a technique that is becoming more and more common on the tour, including Bryson DeChambeau who uses the Armlock method.
KING Grandsport Armlock has a toe hang of 45°, and suits players with an arc-shaped putting stroke.
